 从1936年歌曲面世，此后70余年间，共有48位音乐人翻唱或翻录过此曲，其中不乏大名鼎鼎的Bjork、Sarah Brightman等人。但最为著名以及流传广泛的，是黑人女歌手Billie Holiday的版本，而具有象征意义的是，Billie Holiday在现实生活中吸毒、酗酒，44岁孤独的于病痛中死去。此次我选择的版本，是来自加拿大的女歌手Sarah McLachlan的版本。好听具有时代感，却也不失原曲神遂。 r^a7MHY1

Jacques Brel有一张阔嘴，1929出生于比利时，成年后扬名于法国。1974年Jacques Brel去买了艘二桅风力帆船，想要花三年的时间环游世界。就在他准备起航之际，他的医生宣布他得了肺癌，但是Jacques Brel没有放弃，他带著控制病情的药物，继续环游世界的旅程，两年以后回到布鲁塞尔接受治疗。1978年Jacques Brel死于夏威夷与大溪地之间的小岛－Margesas。个人很喜欢的是Terry Jacks翻录的版本，jacks的版本质朴、简单，道出了歌者对人世无尽的不舍。不过就动听性来说，还是听听我选择的这个版本吧，westlife，著名偶像男团，关于他们就不再赘述。 Ks^wX
