zhaoruirui,at 1.97meters,was the tallest player in the WOMEN`s VOLLEYBALL WORLD CUP and converted 11of her 16attacking attempts to take China into the lead with 13 points,Thanks to her baby face ,she was also the most beautiful player.
But.more importantly ,she was also the cup`s best player! she attacked quickly,scored lot`s of points,and was a great spiker.
Without her,China wouldn`t have won the cup.
"she is young ,but she`s already an excellent attacker." says Chen Zhonghe ,the team`s head coach.
Being tall sometimes makes Zhao`s life difficult,The23-year-old finds it hard buying trousers long enongh for her ,and sometomes people think she is a boy.
still,she would never want to be short"it is a pity i can not grow any taller."she says."if i were taller,i would be a better player."
Zhao works very hard to be good at volleyball,But when she is not training she likes to listen to the songs of Korean group shiahwa,She also likes drawing.
She was very pleased to win the cup.Now she want`s to win the 2004 Athens Olympics.
"I want to be the best volleyball player in the world"she says ,"i still have a long way to go."
